With more than 20 years’ management experience in the recruitment industry, Linda is a recruitment expert and natural relationship builder. Her early career focused on supplying IT professionals to blue chip organisations such as the Bank of England and the Stock Exchange. Having identified a niche in the newly de-regulated energy market, she joined forces with Angela Peart in 2006 to set up Utility People and has spent the years since working with key stakeholders in the energy supply market.
Linda’s success stems from a positive attitude and genuine interest in the people she deals with, treating customers and candidates at all levels with respect and consideration. The success of the business has its roots in Linda’s ability to communicate these values to the team and to ensure that the organisation as a whole delivers them. Her passion has been strategic account management and her structured approach to relationships with clients has given Utility People the edge in delivering a consistent, high quality service unparalleled in the market.
Louise is a commercially astute account director who has more than seven years’ experience working with FTSE 500 clients. She began her recruitment career focusing on IT and financial recruitment. After joining Utility People in 2010 she built her energy supply industry knowledge, going on to establish a track record of success in delivering high quality candidates to the big six energy suppliers, large energy brokers, management consultancies, government bodies and industry regulators.
With strong relationship management skills, Louise is experienced in building and leveraging relationships with clients and candidates at all levels. She provides continual support throughout the life cycle of the recruitment process, from inception to completion and beyond.
She is passionate about providing a positive and professional experience using effective, high standard recruitment strategies, and she uses that passion and structured processes to mentor and develop her team.
As a senior member of the account management team, she helps develop account management strategy and manages her team to deliver a high quality service.
Lisa has worked in executive search for market-leading organisations since 2005, joining Utility People to head and develop its executive search function in 2012. Lisa has worked extensively in telecoms, energy, water and regulation, building up a high quality network of senior professionals and rising stars from all these sectors.
She has an enviable reputation for the identification and attraction of the hardest-to-find senior executives. Her earlier career as PA to top level FTSE100 directors gave her the board level communication skills needed to deliver the exceptional service her clients receive. With a wide range of contacts, Lisa has built valuable long-term relationships with both clients and candidates.
Lisa’s outstanding 100% success rate is the result of using her network, her long-term relationships and managing the executive search process from inception to completion, selectively presenting high caliber candidates who match the requirements not only in terms of experience and ability but also cultural fit.
Emma is an award-winning chartered marketer with more than seven years’ experience in various roles. She has proven strategic and organisational change success – in her previous roles she transformed businesses to the next level. Emma is a communications specialist and is passionate about ensuring businesses share their key values to present and future customers.

Linda is a highly efficient PA with 12 years’ experience. She spent the past three years working for the CEO of a hugely successful company in the banking industry. This role meant she had to be highly organised, with strong attention to detail. She has the capacity to interact with professionals at any level and the ability to exercise complete discretion and confidentiality, qualities which are incredibly important within Utility People.
Linda has recently joined Utility People, leaving her previous role due to relocation and she has already has made a huge impact supporting the team, who heavily rely on her quick thinking multi-tasking approach to her work. She is fast becoming invaluable to Utility People and we are not sure how we ran the office without her!
Jordan joins us having worked in various customer service roles over the past 7 years, and has gained a huge amount of experience in delivering a quality service. This experience has really helped him to understand his customers’ needs and provide support to help them to achieve their goals. Jordan loves talking to new people and always wants to make the customer experience a memorable one. He thrives on working under pressure and always gives 100% to ensure he delivers. This experience combined with Utility People’s contacts and clients, makes him ideally placed to help support our candidates and help them achieve their career goals.
Renz is an enthusiastic graduate with a 2:1 BA (Hons) in Business Studies – backed up with several years’ experience in the retail sector – and he has taken on the role of Recruitment Consultant with relish. He is approachable and a natural communicator, and the commercial skills he has gained over the past 6 years’ are perfectly transferable to recruitment. He is a natural diplomat who is accustomed to delivering a first-class service to his customers, and this coupled with his planning and organisational skills and his training in management and leadership, enable him to easily engage with candidates, and help to find their dream job.
Tamzin is very enthusiastic and motivated Marketer who has been an integral part in helping Utility People to grow. Throughout her time at Utility People Tamzin has developed a deep understand of marketing and the industry and is passionate in ensuring our customers understand the value of our service. Tamzin has a thirst for knowledge which is proven through her studies towards her Marketing qualifications. Tamzin’s friendly manner and determined approach have meant that she has been able to develop quickly and we expect great things from her in the future.
Charlie is a friendly, approachable recruiter and a natural communicator. Having spent the past 4 years working within both retail sales and online customer service, he has discovered a love of talking to people, helping them to find their ideal purchase or delivering a great service and solving all their problems. Charlie was accepted on the latest Utility People Training Academy which is designed to enhance his natural people skills and enable him to be an amazing recruiter delivering a first-class service to his customers.
Having originally joined Utility People as an apprentice, Ciara left to gain more commercial experience elsewhere. As much as she loved the experience she really missed working at Utility People so we are pleased that she has returned as a Recruitment Consultant, and it feels like she never really left. She has returned to the business with a determination to succeed, and the maturity to make it happen. Ciara connects with her candidate, making sure their experience with Utility People is a memorable one, and has the technical understanding to root out the ideal opportunity and help them find their dream job.
Having worked in the recruitment industry for more than 14 years in a variety of sectors including education, legal and admin, she is the perfect fit as Recruitment Manager for our business. Zoe has very quickly gained an excellent understanding of our business, and is totally focused on developing her team to deliver service excellence to both candidates and clients. She has brought structure and focus to the team, as well as recognizing that speed of response is critical in today’s market. A people person with an immense passion for recruitment, she is a natural at motivating and driving her team, and has created a fantastic buzz in the office.
