Summary:
We are looking for an Account Manager to join a leading energy consultancy. This role will see you managing a portfolio of B2B customers ensuring contracted work is delivered to the best possible standard. You will be required to retain / renew customers within your portfolio, up and cross- selling other products, services and solutions where possible. As an Account Manager you will have circa 5 years’ experience in the industry, and used to negotiating and building relationships. The ideal candidate will be a confident communicator and will have knowledge of gas and electricity procurement.Key responsibilities:
- Ensure the delivery of contracted services to clients
- Maintain exemplary relationship with external stakeholders
- Deliver best in class customer service to a range of clients,
- Understand the client’s needs and establish network links
- Identify and solve any issues that clients may face
- Actively promote services and look for up and cross sell opportunities
- Renewals and retaining client accounts
Skills and experience required:
- 3-5 years account/ relationship management experience within the energy sector
- College diploma or degree (preferably in Maths, Finance or Business studies)
- Language skills would be advantageous (French, German, or Spanish).
- Experience in negotiating and retaining/ renewing client accounts
- Proven track record of commercial negotiations
- Good level of analytical skills
- Good listening and interpersonal skills
- Ability to prioritise and execute tasks time sensitive deliveries in a pressured environment
