Summary:

Our client is responsible for adopting gas and electricity networks as they are constructed –managing asset data and network maintenance. The Asset Lead will ensure asset data capture is efficient and compliant, stakeholders provided with 1st class data and support, and revenue is maximised. This role would suit someone who is personable (customer focus), good with large data sets (analytical) and keen to have an impact on business performance. The ideal candidate will have experience of the energy/ utilities / IDNO sector.

 Key responsibilities:

  • Strengthen relationships with customers and/or improve asset record quality.
  • Produce electricity asset data reporting, to support data-driven asset mgmt decision making.
  • Drive process and systems to maintain compliance with licenses.
  • Assisting the Asset Analysts in capturing, checking and cleansing all asset data and records
  • Ensure service SLAs are achieved and customers’ needs are met as they relate to asset adoption and responding to customer queries.
  • Support technical ops teams, to ensure time spent on project administration is minimised.
  • Participate in regular training/ learning activities to maintain and develop skills / knowledge.
  • Ensure the health and safety of yourself and others; use work equipment provided safely and co-operate with managers to provide safe systems of work.

 Skills and experience required: 

  • Experience of the energy/ utilities sector is essential ideally electricity industry and/ or IDNO
  • Articulate, professional and clear verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a customer focused approach; and an expectation of others to do likewise.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities
  • Strive to get things right first time and deliver a high volume of quality work on time
  • Highly organised with good attention to detail
  • Intermediate knowledge of Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Ideally graduate with a degree in stats – economics, maths, account & finance etc
