Summary:

We are looking for an Audit and Compliance Manager to join a company committed to providing sustainable and efficient energy solutions. As the Audit & Compliance Manager you will play a critical role in managing the Audit & Compliance function. In this role, you will carry out risk assessments, compliance monitoring, stakeholder engagement, action planning, process implementation, and fostering a compliance-focused culture. The ideal candidate will have extensive compliance or audit management experience, be an excellent communication skills, and a have a proactive approach to adapting to changing regulatory requirements. Key responsibilities:

  • Manage the Audit and Compliance function.
  • Identify, assess, and document risk exposures and conduct regular reviews.
  • Collaborate with business owners to develop clear action plans to mitigate identified risks.
  • Ensure implementation of mandatory processes and controls directed by third parties.
  • Conduct audits and monitor compliance with license conditions and industry regulations.
  • Deliver and implement Group-level compliance and HSE programs, policies, and directives.
  • Promote a compliance-focused culture by providing expert advice, guidance, compliance training, and regular employee communications.
  • Engage and influence the Senior Management Team to champion the compliance program.
  • Act as the focal point for all external audits
  • Ensure proper documentation and implementation of accepted recommendations.
  • Own the development and maintenance of TGPL's business continuity plan.
  • Manage, develop, and support the Audit and Compliance team.
  • Facilitate the roll-out of company-developed compliance controls and processes to other European Marketing entities.
  • Drive ethical awareness campaigns.
 

Skills and experience required:

  • Extensive experience in compliance or audit management
  • A compliance, audit, or related qualification is desirable.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a diverse workload
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills at all levels
  • Strong collaborative approach and team working skills.
  • Exceptional written communication and numeracy skills.
  • A proactive approach to adapt to the changing regulatory landscape and effectively manage associated risks to protect the business.
