We are looking for an Account Manager to join a business energy and water consultancy. The role is for an excellent communicator that understands the customers needs, assessing the most effective way to deliver the agreed services. The ideal candidate will have fantastic organisational skills with the ability to manage many projects and present their status clearly. - Manage end-to-end customer lifecycle – new energy / water contracts, renewals, COT, carbon, billing etc.
- Maintain clients within company agreement framework
- Be primary point of contact and keep customer informed of progress
- Resolve queries
- Maintain appropriate records
- Establish appropriate service expectations in line with SLAs
- Take client through Carbon Net Zero sustainability journey
- Provide recommendations on appropriate products, services and solutions
- Identify new business and upsell opportunities
Skills and experience required:
- Experience in energy/water industry ideally in an account management role
- 5 years + industry experience
- Strong organisational and written/verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks
- Excellent IT skills and technically competent
- A-Level standard or equivalent
