 We are looking for a Senior Operations Manager to join an award winning, well-established software and data management provider delivering services to energy suppliers and industry participants. The role is to manage the Team of Operations Managers and oversee the day-to-day activity required to deliver the services they provide by adding value to their client’s experience for Billing, Industry Operations Performance and Settlement Exceptions. - Day to day management of the B2B Ops Team and Team Managers
- Management of Billing, CoS, Disputes, ETs, Losses /Metering tasks, SLAs and exception management
- Performance management of Operations Managers
- Client Relationship Management and stakeholder management of key B2B stakeholders
- Maintain close working relationships with Billing Teams and regular communication with 3rd Parties
- Identify process improvements to increase efficiency and service quality
- Managing a positive internal relationship with Product, Service Desk and Client Relationship teams
- Add value to the experience of clients, colleagues and other relevant stakeholders through practicing and promoting the companies values
Skills and experience required:Â
- Strong leadership skills, highly resilient, can multi-task and turn complex problems into action plans
- Experience of working within the B2B Energy space (advantageous)
- Have a working knowledge of B2B pricing and Billing (highly desirable)
- Be a critical thinker and welcome challenges with ability to tackle problems
- Welcome customer feedback and not be afraid to have challenging conversations
- Experience of leading people and demonstrating a variety of performance management techniques
- Ability to own the coaching and development of a team in an engaging way
- Understand and translate contractual SLAs into manageable team targets
- Communication and presentation skills to support internal team and external client meetings
- MS Office proficiency and excel intermediate level as a minimum to support data analysis
