Summary:

We are looking for a Bid Support Analyst to join a leading energy supplier. As the Bid Support Analyst, you will be fundamental to the success of the team, driving new business agenda in an evolving competitor landscape. In the role, you will create and manage commercial material to support the sale of energy solutions, maintain the “Bid Library”, ensure internal bid processes and governance structures are being followed, and review incoming tenders and bespoke requests. To be successful in this role you will need experience working with flexible gas and power supply agreements, a good understanding of key features, risk, structures, and common queries, and a proven track record of enhancing business processes. Key responsibilities:

  • Create and manage commercial material and documentation to support the sale of power, gas and energy solutions to industrial and commercial consumers.
  • Maintain an evolving Bid Library, creating a central resource of relevant material, tools, documents and commercial learnings from across the business.
  • Ensure robust internal bid processes and governance structures,
  • Review incoming tenders and bespoke requests, ensuring requirements are understood and key risks can be identified and mitigated.
  • Assist with the development of new innovative solutions that support diversified portfolios
  • Assist with wider team tasks, including sales support activity, where required
 

Skills and experience required: 

  • Experience of working directly with flexible gas and power supply agreements
  • Good working understanding of the key features, risks, structures and common queries/ challenges faced when compiling commercial material, deal structures and contracts for I&C deals
  • Keen eye for detail, super organised & structured
  • Commercial focus – an understanding of key value & risks (both internal & external)
  • Stakeholder engagement & collaboration skills
  • A proven track record of enhancing business processes, tools and material.
  • Proven ability to develop new products and solutions across various business functions.
  • Demonstrable experience in similar roles with tangible delivery and results.
