Bill Validation Analyst (Energy / Utilities)

Summary:

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Bill Validation Analyst to join a rapidly expanding Energy Consultancy.  You will be accountable for analysing and reporting on client spend and usage from historical data and identifying any overspend. The successful applicant will be detail orientated, possess excellent analytical skills and previous experience in a similar role within the Energy industry.

 Key responsibilities:

 

• Requesting data from suppliers
• Analysing and accurately detailing anomalies
• Generating reports and presenting findings to management
• Manage internal inter-dependencies to ensure tasks are promptly completed
• Liaising with suppliers to obtain rebates on behalf of the client
• Reporting findings to the client
• Securing identified recoveries from suppliers for clients

 Skills and experience required:

 

• At least 2 years’ experience in similar role within Energy / Utilities
• Organised with strong analytical skills
• Ability to work without supervision – being proactive and using own initiative
• High level of efficiency, accuracy, integrity and attention to detail
• Able to handle a varied workload in a timely manner
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel
