Key responsibilities:
- Produce requirements in the form of user stories for use by developers and test analysts
- Analyse and understand the business processes and workflows related to payments
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define business requirements and deliver solutions
- Develop and maintain documentation including requirements, design and user manuals.
- To provide interpretation of industry compliance requirements.
- Provide expertise/support to internal teams and external clients using the software solutions.
- Interpret complex business requirements into understandable requirements for the teams.
- Manage/prioritise requirements against industry, customer & internal expectations/deadlines
- Work with software team to resolve issues with conflicting functionality and timelines.
- To create and maintain product guides and user documentation.
- On some occasions, to provide training to colleagues and clients on system changes.
Skills & experience required:
- Experience within an energy retail supply business essential
- Payment and/or debt management experience
- Ideally some business analysis skills plus good inter-personal skills and a team player.
- Good problem-solving techniques, and strong attention to detail.
- Experience working directly with developers and test analysts on product development.
- Ideally experience regarding dataflows and supplier management.
- Experience using and/or designing CRM functions - useful.
- Experience using agile and formal BA methodologies - useful.
