Summary:

Do you have experience working within the energy industry, particularly within Bureau and invoice validation? A leading energy consultancy are looking for a Bureau and Validation Team Leader to play a vital role in delivering outstanding Bureau and Invoice Validation services. In this role, you will lead a team of Energy and Carbon Analysts, overseeing the entire process from invoice validation to query resolution, ERP reporting, batch processing, and budget development. Your responsibilities extend to talent development, process optimization, and the successful execution of large-scale engagements to deliver unparalleled quality. Key responsibilities:

  • Lead the Bureau and Validation team in delivering exceptional client engagements.
  • Monitor daily client deliverables to ensure timelines are consistently met.
  • Act as the primary client-facing point of contact for senior-level expertise.
  • Implement and enhance processes to standardise service delivery.
  • Monitor engagement margins, team utilisation, and recovery rates.
  • Ensure efficient response to tickets within client service SLAs.
  • Uphold quality assurance standards and robust processes within your team.
  • Provide technical guidance on industry best practices and regulations.
  • Work with Procurement to manage supplier relationships
  • Oversee key bureau processes
  • Manage the Bureau budgeting and reporting suite.
 

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in utility management or consulting within the Industrial & Commercial utilities market.
  • Deep knowledge of the UK utilities industry, including regulations and billing methodologies.
  • Proven experience in managing small teams to deliver exceptional client service.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel.
  • Demonstrated innovative and ethical problem-solving skills.
  • Proactive attitude with a drive to contribute to our company's purpose.
  • Flexibility, positivity, and a commitment to high standards.
