We are looking for a Business Development Manager to join a leading energy management consultancy to manage the commercial relationship and portfolio management of existing and new corporate clients – scoping energy management services. - Identify and develop new business opportunities by researching and targeting potential clients
- Work closely with the BD team to maximize the flow of appointments for client visits
- Utilize networks and relationships to generate new business opportunities
- Build relationships with prospects to understand their energy management needs and identify sales opportunities
- Understand and be able to explain the benefits of energy management services to clients, including the potential cost savings and environmental benefits
- Prepare and present proposals and quotations to clients, negotiating terms and conditions as needed
- Attend industry events to build network and stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments
Skills and experience required:
- Proven experience in a field sales role, ideally energy management or related B2B services industry
- Demonstrated ability to identify and develop new business opportunities
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build and maintain client relationships
- Ability to prepare and present proposals and quotations to clients
- Self-motivated and able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Valid UK driving license and access to a car for client visits
