We are recruiting for a consultative, strategic, Client Account Director to have an impact on client relationships within EMEA and North America. As an Account Director you will contribute to the performance and productivity of the business unit whilst influencing the development of global products and services for delivery to the marketplace. You will be used to dealing with the dynamics and uncertainties of managing a distributed client base across EMEA, embracing new products and services. - Develop a thorough understanding of the global service offering to deliver an excellent client experience
- Manage designated global client accounts to ensure contractual obligations are delivered in accordance with the terms of existing contracts
- Take responsibility for overall client satisfaction and the retention of the account at renewal (including management of supply tenders)
- Build strong client relationships across EMEA and NA through regular communication
- Work with internal cross functional teams to support on client service delivery
- Work with a CRM system to maintain client contacts for new growth and referral opportunities
- Maintain good level of EMEA Energy market knowledge; become respected internally and externally as a source of expert advice
- Manage development, and support delivery of detailed mobilisation plans
- Assist the global operational delivery teams with ad-hoc and regular requests for support in meeting client SLA’s
- Support the P&L by maximising sales revenue, managing account debt, communicating potential operational profitability and introducing the client to new Group products and initiatives
Qualifications or Required Experience:Â
- Solid experience in the energy industry (minimum 5 years)
- Good knowledge of flexible contracts and Energy supply
- Strong (Verbal & Written) communication skills with an ability to build client relationships
- Proficiency in at least one European language in addition to English is essential
- Effective presentation and negotiation skills
- Good time management skills with a problem-solving attitude
- Demonstration of commercial understanding to support client retention
- Evidence of managing strategic accounts
