Summary:
Our client is looking for an CRM / Billing Subject Matter Expert to join their successful energy software company. The role will be to work on the CRM & Billing solution which features a customer-driven proactive roadmap that introduces innovation for the billing of new digital energy services across the utilities market. The ideal candidate must have experience in I&C/Business energy practices (billing – pass through charges, flex tariffs etc), understanding of Half Hourly procedures as well as experience within the energy sector regarding supplier management and using/designing CRM functions.Key responsibilities:
- Be a point of contact for provide I&C knowledge and expertise with the team
- Provide industry expertise and documentation to the client in their software development
- Deliver interpretation of industry compliance requirements
- Give expertise and support to both internal teams & external clients using software solutions
- Estimate and prioritise requirements against industry, customer and internal expectations
- Effectively communicate requirements to the wider business and stakeholders.
- Review testing and technical documentation against requirements by deadline
- Create and maintain product guides and user documentation.
- Provide training to colleagues and clients on CRM/Billing functionality/changes.
- Understand, participate and occasionally lead in the internal change control process.
- Get involved with presales activity and demonstrations of software
- Provide first line interface for colleagues and clients to interpret and translate complex business requirements to simple functional requirements to the CRM/Billing sprint teams.

- Any applicable Business Analyst qualifications (BSC Certificate in Business Analyst Practice)
- Knowledge of smart, prepayment, export / complex meter operations.
- Experience working with 3rd party clients/agents.
- Experience working in an agile software development environment.
