We are looking for a Customer Account Manager to join a global technology company delivering metering solutions. As a Customer Account Manager, you will have responsibility for the management of a portfolio of 12 key customer accounts, building strong relationships, ensuring customer satisfaction, growing profitable revenue in accordance with budget commitments and securing profitable contract renewals. - Ensure customer satisfaction, resulting in generation of new opportunities.
- Develop a sound customer contact network
- Generate knowledge on the customer's specific strategy and its business environment.
- Analyse customer's markets, position and needs to investigate specific business opportunities
- Build Supplier market specific value-oriented propositions.
- Define and implement an account business plan (3 to 5 years).
- Have good financial management of accounts – invoicing and debt management
- Completion of all internal reporting, approval, and governance documentation
- Initiate, facilitate, and lead contract negotiations for new services, variations, and renewals.
- Manage customer complaints as a point of escalation, if necessary.
Skills and experience required:Â
- Experienced Account Manager in Energy / Utilities ideally energy supplier / metering
- Demonstrable level of success developing enduring and profitable customer relationships
- The ability to communicate, influence and present effectively at all levels
- Good organisational and time management skills
- Effective and proven commercial awareness and negotiation skills
- Proficient in excel with the ability to analyse and compare datasets
