We are looking for an Energy Services Manager to join a large energy consultancy. The role involves overseeing the Energy Services Department and management of a portfolio of clients. You will be the main contact for clients/stakeholders, monitoring the progress on Net Zero projects. The ideal candidate will have experience working on energy solution projects as well as having excellent technical knowledge. - Commercial operation of the Energy Services department.
- Day to day operation of the Energy Services department
- Growth of the Energy Services department by promoting available and new services
- To liaise with portfolio of third parties (and relevant clients) on projects
- Monitor projects to ensure smooth progress, satisfied clients and successful completion.
- Have initial discussions with clients re on site resilience (PV, CHP) or compliance schemes such as SECR, ESOS or Energy audits
- Maintain knowledge base of staff by assisting with group training / awareness.
Skills and experience required:
- Previous experience in Account Management in a technical environment
- Confident communicator able to build relationships
- Comfortable holding meetings and able to present to a number of recipients.
- Understand the main energy reporting/compliance schemes
- Experience in project management, energy efficiency, onsite generation
- Technical experience in PV/ CHP / SECR / ESOS
