Summary:

Our client, one of the UK's leading B2B gas suppliers, is on the path to conquer the electricity (Power) market, and they're searching for a bright and enthusiastic Junior Account Manager to be part of this exciting journey. As a Junior Account Manager your primary responsibilities will include, preparing sales quotations, manipulating data, conducting credit checks, and providing essential back-office support to ensure seamless customer transactions and exceptional service. To be successful in this role you will need, a recent university degree, excellent numerical and written skills, and be self-motivated and driven to excel. Key responsibilities:

  • Prepare sales quotations and essential paperwork to facilitate customer transactions.
  • Utilise and manipulate Half Hourly Data for various business purposes.
  • Conduct credit checks on customers and assist in contract creation.
  • Support the launch of new products and services, ensuring a smooth transition.
  • Collaborate with gas Account Managers to gain a comprehensive understanding of the business.
  • Provide vital back-office support, ensuring high-quality aftersales assistance and exceptional customer care.
 

Skills and experience required:

  • A recent university degree, demonstrating your commitment to learning and growth.
  • Self-motivated and driven to excel in a dynamic industry.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong numerical skills
  • Quick learner with a knack for picking up industry-specific knowledge.
  • Proficiency in computer use, particularly in Excel and Outlook.
  • Meticulous attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all tasks.
  • Effective team player and capable of working independently.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
