Role purposeA major international retail energy supplier is looking for a Lead Generation Exec to contact potential customers by phone to generate, manage and develop leads facilitating the sale of electricity and gas contracts along with other related services. Your role will be to maximise commercial opportunities with potential customers, and to always provide a quality level of service. The ideal candidate will have experience of B2B telesales and lead generation, and any exposure to energy / gas / electricity / utilities would be advantageous.
- Achieve personal targets, including call metrics, lead generation and making contract sales.
- Contribute to delivery of team and organisational sales targets through lead management
- Gain information from interaction with customers to improve and help define sales approach.
- Accurate and timely update of internal systems.
- Ensuring accurate customer take-on according to process.
- Adherence to Sales Limits of Authority and compliance/risk framework
- Ideally knowledge of UK Energy Market – retail supply and services
- Numeracy and ability to resolve complex issues
- Knowledge of sales techniques and optimisation
- Telesales and negotiation experience
- Verbal Reasoning and relationship managmenet
- MS Office proficient and Salesforce experience useful
- Planning and development against objectives
- A-level or equivalent
