Summary:
Our client is a world leader in energy services. The role of M&E Advisor is to oversee and manage several projects for conception to final completion, input into design / drawings, supply chain management and quality control. You will have line management of the M&E Project Supervisors, and assist with the O&Ms, ensuring labour and works are management effectively and completed. The ideal candidate will have previous experience of building services management, proficient with MS Office, Autodesk AutoCAD and U-Value calculators along with excellent organisation skills.Key responsibilities:
- Working closely with the site teams to oversee and manage several projects
- See projects through from conception to final completion
- Input into design and drawings
- Supply chain management and quality control
- Direct line management to the M&E Project Supervisors
- Working closely with the Operations Admin to help assist with the O&Ms
- Inform the Planning Dept of a delivery process during pre-construction
- Develop, challenge and guide the bid communication / process
- Maintain the business culture to ensure high standards are consistently achieved
Skills and experience required:Â
- Previous building services management experience
- Ability to work on more than one project at one time and work to tight deadlines
- Proficient with MS Office (Work & Excel) and experience of services design software
- Competent operating Autodesk AutoCAD and U-Value calculators
- Experience operating Swept Path Analysis Software
- Excellent organisation skills and a professional attitude / approach to work
- Experience of how to estimate site loads and obtain electrical TBS quotations
- Driving license
