Role purpose
An exciting opportunity has arisen with a global energy supplier as an Origination Analyst to provide support to the Origination Sales Team including analysis, quote preparation, contract operation, construction, and maintenance of internal systems. You will capture data on Export, Battery and DSR working with Pricing, Demand Forecasting and Retail Hedging. The ideal candidate will be highly numerate with solid analytical skills and have experience in the renewable energy sector. - Highly numerate with solid analytical skills and the ability to turn data into intelligence
- Able to demonstrate a practical approach to problem solving.
- Knowledge of export market/products - retail pricing & billing policies/methodologies/system
- Knowledge of embedded benefits and regulations.
- Understanding and knowledge of the FIT Scheme, legislation and regulatory framework.
- Experience in the UK energy (power and gas) market, specifically the renewable sector.
- Delivering excellent customer service and worked with renewables developers
- Microsoft Office proficient.
Job responsibilities
- Capture, maintain & report on Export, Battery and DSR prospect and contract data in systems.
- Provide flows of data to internal and external stakeholders.
- Quotation preparation to respond to export/DSR requests in a timely and accurate manner.
- Use pricing & billing models and documents to be used during the Pricing Process.
- Support the Continuous Improvement Processes for Export.
- Support the delivery of excellent customer service and relationships.
- Develop tools and processes and assist with development of current and new products.
- Carry out analysis to improve knowledge and intelligence of market/customers
- Co-ordination of FIT process, liaising with Ofgem & generation of compliance/audit reports
