Key Accountabilities:
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to identify opportunities where analysis can drive informed decision-making. Oversee the design and delivery of relevant research, modelling, and analysis to support the company’s objectives.
- Lead and deliver analytical projects, providing in-depth analysis, insight reports, and projections in critical areas such as network performance, road user safety, and customer satisfaction.
- Apply Operational Research principles, theories, and techniques to construct predictive models that serve as the foundation for data-driven decisions.
- Champion the analytical work within and outside the organization, ensuring alignment with priorities and building resilience within the group.
- Foster knowledge sharing by disseminating operational research techniques and best practices within your team and across other business areas.
- Collaborate with other team leaders to meet existing performance metric reporting commitments and progress network performance metrics in development.
Experience:
- 5 years proven experience in managing analytical projects in a leading Operational Research Analyst role.
- Technical knowledge and experience of operational research techniques, data analytics, intelligence analysis and ideally have developed and applied a range of mathematical modelling and statistical techniques at project level.
- Be able to demonstrate a sustained and varied experience of providing analytical assurance at project level.
- Exceptional numerical and analytical skills with the ability to communicate complex information effectively.
- Experience in line management, responsibility for a team of 2 Analysts
- Strong application of Operational Research principles, theories, and concepts to complex analytical assignments.
- Successful track record of leading and developing teams to achieve organizational objectives.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects, deliver quality outcomes, and identify/manage risks.
