  Does your passion for saving water match your passion for excellent customer service?   My client is a social and environmental regeneration charity, helping people to change places and change lives. This is an exciting opportunity to lead my clients award-winning water saving programmes in partnership with a major water supplier. The Programme Manager will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service in the delivery of domestic and business water efficiency, wastage fixes (low-level plumbing repairs) and customer engagement.   Providing leadership to the programme’s Senior Management and support teams, the Programme Manager will oversee the programmes financial planning and monitoring; human resources planning and management; health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace and in the field. Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure effective contractual, planning, financial and operational management of all company activities
  • Proactively ensure excellent and effective relationships are in place with company clients,
  • participate in water efficiency strategies and planning activities,
  • Deliver performance reviews, multi-level reporting and programme evaluation
  • Ensure that excellent customer service standards are adhered to
  • Recruit, induct, train and manage the wider staff
  • Establish a strong health, safety, well-being and environmental culture,
  • Support the development of relationships with existing and new companies with the view to securing new contracted programmes of work
  • Ensure the security, maintenance and performance of all assets deployed in the delivery of programme requirements.

Skills and experience required:

  • Excellent communication and presentation skills
  • be able to communicate with a wide variety of customer groups
  • Ability to manage workloads and competing priorities in a deadline orientated environment
  • Excellent ICT skills using bespoke systems, Microsoft Office Suite, the internet and other databases
  • Water efficiency, plumbing and waste management knowledge and experience
  • Proven ability to think creatively, problem-solve and work on own initiative
  • Demonstrate a commitment to and understanding of the principles of equal opportunities in both employment and service delivery
