Recoveries Analyst (Utilities / Energy)

Summary:

We are seeking a motivated Recoveries Analyst to join the Finance team of our client - a well-established European Commercial Gas Supplier.  As a Recoveries Analyst, you will work closely with the credit control team to resolve technical issues and contentious blockers that hinder collection of debt. The key for this role is to be analytical, good with data, and have an investigative mindset to find the root cause of a problem and identify a solution.  You will have a can-do attitude and be target-driven. Issues could be problems with the meter, billing, COT, and disputes over meter reads. Key responsibilities:

• Managing and administering site visit results and performing tracing activity
• Effective management of customer-driven queries from vendors
• Telephony support on incoming outsourcing line
• Administering closure files and end-of-cycle reviews
• Liaising with agents based at third-party management teams, including debt recovery agencies, solicitors, and meter disconnection specialists
• Collaborating with internal teams to resolve technical and contentious blockers within the debt recovery and termination cycle
• Minimising risk, ensuring all queries are managed within timely SLAs
