Summary:

Do you have a strong desire and the skills needed to acquire new clients and build relationships? We are looking for a Sales Account Manager to join an energy consultancy. In this role you will ensure that all contracts are renewed in a timely fashion, respond to inbound enquiries, oversee registration and confirmation of site additions, change of tenancies and rejections. To be successful in this role you will need to have a minimum of 2 years B2B energy sales experience, have a good understanding of energy and carbon markets, and have a proven track record of renewing, retention and selling to warm leads. Key responsibilities:

  • Ensure all contracts are renewed in a timely fashion
  • Ensure customer queries are resolved with the support of a sales analyst
  • All renewals and upsells to be recorded on SalesForce
  • Ability to present to customers on TEAMS and at site
  • Responsibility to oversee registration and confirmation of site additions, COTs and rejections
  • To liaise with different departments (Operations, Tendering, Finance and Corporate)
  • To produce reporting (with the support of an analyst) which will be relayed to management

Skills and experience required: 

  • A minimum of 2 years in sales B2B energy sector
  • A track record of either renewing, retention or selling into the energy markets
  • A good understanding of energy and carbon markets
  • Comfortable in working independently with a good level of creativity and innovation
  • Ability to consider, construct and develop sales relationships
  • Salesforce experience highly desirable
