Summary:

Our client, an Independent Commercial Gas Supplier who are renowned for their innovative products such as 100% biogas, utility connections and delivering first class customer service are looking for a Sales Support Administrator to join their expanding sales team.  Your primary function is to assist the Sales team with administrative tasks. In this position, you will deal with incoming calls, manage sales enquiries, keep sales records and customer records. Any experience in energy / utilities would be advantageous. Role and Responsibilities

  • Assisting Sales with administrative tasks including tender processing, checking consumption levels are accurate, quote preparation, credit checking applications and contract processing
  • Completing quality control checks on completed sales and ensuring expected standards are met at all times
  • Assisting the diary management of the Sales team
  • Assisting the Sales Team Leader in identifying sales opportunities
  • Assist the Sales department with aftersales care by liaising with brokers by confirming lock in confirmations and chasing any further documentation required
  • Supporting the business by assisting in the preparation of renewal opportunities
  • Support the launch of new products and services through effective internal and external communication
  • Process price book sales and liaise with brokers to solve sales rejections and queries
  • Support back-office in providing aftersales support and customer care
  • Support Account Managers (the Sales team) in their day-to-day sales processes
  • Generate and submit customer quotations as and when required
  • Generate reports as and when required
 

Skills and Experience

  • Industry and Sales Support Experience (advantageous)
  • Self-motivated
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as customer service skills
  • Good arithmetic skills
  • Computer literate with good Excel and Outlook skills
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Good at working as part of a team and individually
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
