Summary:
We are looking for a Sales Support Analyst to join an independent B2B renewable energy supply company. The role is to manage the direct sales tender response and administration process for new customers and the renewal pipeline. Ensuring timeliness and accuracy of proposals, produced in line with the Memorandum of Authority, all the way through to the onboarding of new clients, supporting in contracting and after sales service. The ideal candidate will have experience in a corporate customer facing role, have excellent organisational / time management skills and be proactive and motivated. A recent graduate with an I.T related degree, who is willing to learn and start a career in the energy industry would also be considered (must have a Power BI and Advanced Excel skills). ÂKey responsibilities:
- Manage the tender response process for the Direct Sales channel, both Fixed & Flex contracts
- Ensure tenders are logged in line with KPIs and key requests are given to the relevant people
- Identify / query anomalies in tender data with clients and assist Account Managers
- Ensure all tracking systems are kept up to date and as accurate as possible
- Production of Sales Team reports and presentations
- Liaise with the Commercial and Operations departments on tender and contract queries
- Create and send out contract offers to the Account Manager / Business Development Manager
- Where necessary support the Account Manager in obtaining price feedback
- Answer incoming calls coming through the Sales Line, managing any queries or complaints
Skills and experience required:Â
- Previous experience in a corporate sales support role
- Energy / utilities sales support experience (desirable but not essential)
- Recent I.T graduate with interest in the energy/ renewable industry with Advanced Excel & Power BI
- Excellent organisational / time management skills, attention to detail / accuracy of numerical data
- Ability to proactively plan and prioritise own work and recognise when to ask for assistance
- Creative thinking to come up with new ways of doing things and put those thoughts into action
- Comfortable working across the range of Windows packages
- Maintain a confident and professional manner with ability to remain calm under pressure
- Proactive and self-motivated to work alone through a set task and as part of a wider team
- Excellent communication skills and ability to relate to people at all levels, developing relationships
- Experience with flexible supply contract tenders / negotiation processes (desirable but not essential)
