Do you have great experience in managing key client accounts ideally gained from an energy consultancy company? We are looking for a Senior Account Manager to join a global specialist in energy management to manage commercial relationships with clients throughout the UK and Europe. In this role, you will be tasked with the delivery of energy management and sustainability solutions to clients, taking advantage of upselling and cross-selling opportunities when possible. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in a similar role dealing with UK and/ or international clients, a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent), and be willing to travel. - Create annual targets around revenue, client retention, sales support and other KPIs
- Maintain communication with key contacts whilst developing new opportunities
- Ensure client commercial agreements are negotiated and renewed ahead of expiry date,
- Arrange client meetings to promote business through presentations and account analysis
- Ensuring age of debt is maintained at agreed levels
- Create Account Management Plan for each Account under ownership
- Develop and maintain on-going working knowledge of key products
- Interact with internal teams to ensure contracted scope is delivered to expectations
Skills and experience required:
- Bachelor’s degree or above or equivalent
- Prior significant energy consultancy experience
- Language skill set: English with French, German or Spanish an advantage
- Charismatic, energetic, and reassuring with presence
- Exemplary communication skills at all levels of businesses
- Commercial, risk management and negotiation skills – up/ cross sell and retentions exp.
- Excellent energy market knowledge
- Willingness to travel within reason in fulfilment of the role
