Summary:

We are looking for a Senior Consultant to join an international sustainability and energy services business. You will be responsible for the legal and compliance, social, and governance aspects of ESG reporting. You will support clients in determining how financial material, and human resources inputs, should fit within the framework of sustainable decision making. The ideal person will have a solid understanding of supply chain governance and compliance on climate related issues. So, if this sounds like the role for you, apply today!

Key responsibilities:

  • Acting in the capacity of ‘trusted advisor’ for senior stakeholders
  • Provide expert insight on impact of climate change on corporate policies and sustainability
  • Lead production of Social and Corporate Governance reports to aid on compliance / risk
  • Implementing software-based solutions for sustainability data management
  • Advising on compliance with UK & EU climate policy and risk assessment
  • Supporting other team members on emissions accounting and modelling
  • Assisting the sales team to achieve ambitious growth targets in this space
  • Supporting marketing with content on developments in energy technology or climate policy

Skills and experience required: 

  • Knowledge of supply chain governance and compliance on climate related risks
  • Able to assess governance strategies on social and environmental risks
  • Legal and contractual frameworks for supply chain and risk management
  • Able to establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Able to communicate technical subjects matter to non-technical audience
  • Value stream management and Project management
  • Ability to identify, establish and maintain relationships with key stakeholders
  • Exceptional data management, analysis, and presentation skills
  • Experience in modelling GHG Protocol Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions
