Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Telecoms Specialist to join a leading consultancy. As a Telecoms Specialist, you will be responsible for keeping abreast of industry, maintaining a knowledge base with relevant internal stakeholders, and at times interacting with customers for complex product support. You will develop and manage a telecoms pricing function across all customer sectors, developing supplier relationships and delivering competitive pricing for the Group. The ideal candidate will have a 3+ years in the telecoms industry with a strong understanding of all telecoms products; Mobile, business broadband, Cloud Voice, Ethernet, MPLSKey responsibilities:
- Support product & pricing coverage for the group at all times
- To act as a product specialist that can be accessed by internal and external customers
- Provide thought leadership and product insights through regular ‘did you know’ updates
- Help develop growth through marketing campaigns and product/service development
- Act as a query escalation point, liaising with suppliers, customers & internal functions
- Support new business activity to facilitate new wins
- Support renewal activity to facilitate customer retention or cross-sell opportunities
- Support effective and commercially beneficial relationships with suppliers
- Maintain a close network in conjunction with the telecoms product owner
- Support adherence to processes and ensure processes are documented and available
- Help ensure cohesive and transparent working practices following industry or other change
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum of 3 years working in the telecoms industry
- Strong understanding of all telecoms products; Mobile, business broadband, Cloud Voice, Ethernet, MPLS,
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to innovate and deliver solutions tailored to customers’ needs
- IT literate
