Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Utilities Support Analyst to join the Major Business Department of an energy services consultancy that deliver energy cost management solutions. The role is an entry-level position as the first point of contact for the US with the primary goal to gain efficiencies through process development and standardization whilst maintaining the highest level of accuracy, timeliness, and professionalism. The ideal candidate will have a great understanding of the energy industry – COTs, metering, bill/ invoice validation and used to speaking to suppliers. Key responsibilities:- First point of contact for US / American client accounts
- Liaising all energy related queries
- Confirm accurate information on the new utility accounts
- Coordinate with data aggregator / payment partner
- Liaising with current utility provider to terminate service
- Data collection, entering / processing data in internal data system within the set time frame
- Evaluate feasibility to switch to a more favourable utility rate schedule
- Additional responsibilities as required by the line manager
- Great understanding of the energy industry – COTs, metering, bill/ invoice validation
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Strong Microsoft Office (specifically Excel) skills
- Strong mathematics and analytics knowledge
- A keen eye for detail, problem solver, and good organisation skills
- Delivery-focused, results-oriented and accountable
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills
- Desire and willingness to learn about the U.S. energy market
- Education background in economics/electrical engineering/administration (desirable)
