We are looking for an experienced Project Manager to join a leading energy Consultancy. You will manage and deliver expert advice on utility metering and sitework projects & services to clients. This is a 'hands-on' role, and examples of projects that you will be working on include raising applications for major utilities, new connections, upgrade electricity meter etc. To be successful in this role you will need, project management experience within the energy industry. Key responsibilities:
- Projects & relationship management of Clients and Suppliers where applicable.
- Agent contract & relationship management (Meter Operators, DC / DA, DNOs).
- Industry liaison with agents, suppliers and clients/TPIs to deliver projects on time and in scope.
- System updates to log activity on projects specified to enable reporting.
- Contract development and improvement identification and implementation.
- Attendance, contribution and input to client/supplier/industry meetings as required.
- Generate proposals to include costings in line with the company and partner delivery costs.
Skills and experience required:Â
- Experience of utility industry, specifically the UK commercial electricity market.
- Experience of project management, with multi-client portfolios.
- Experience of utility network infrastructure & metering.
- Strong negotiation skills.
- Great organisation, planning and time management skills.
- Sound IT knowledge of Excel, Word, SAGE, CRM systems and industry databases
- Commercially astute, identifying opportunities and growth areas for the business.
