Location: Coventry - 2 days office + site visits Salary: £35 - £40k DOE Summary: We are looking for a qualified Project Engineer to join our client, a growing and dynamic Energy Consultancy. In this role, you will manage and support the delivery of energy-related projects from electric and heat generation to fuel sustainability and compliance with incentive schemes. In addition you will leading and developing a small team of Project Engineers, Graduates, and/or Apprentices. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Senior Energy Engineer with strong communication and analytical skills. If this sounds like you, apply today! Key responsibilities:
  • Deliver projects and consultancy services for clients (RHI, FiT, ROC and other associated schemes),
  • Scoping and proposing work required.
  • Gathering information both from sites and remotely.
  • Assessing and calculating solutions to meet client needs.
  • Preparing and delivering reports or compliance activities.
  • Presenting findings and concepts/ideas in both formal and informal settings
  • Lead and develop a small team of Project Engineers, Graduates and/or Apprentices
  • Support the research and technical evaluation of projects, including energy production and energy efficiency measures.
  • Deliver services in a high quality, timely manner and within budget.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients
Skills and experience required:
  • Experience of delivering projects
  • Educated to degree level or equivalent - Energy, Engineering or Environmental subject
  • Proven technical knowledge related to the energy industry
  • Strong organisational, communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to manage multiple parallel projects
  • Good IT skills including MS Office and AutoCAD
  • Ability to analyse complex data and present this in an easy-to-understand format.
