Our client is a dynamic and fast-growing energy supplier, and they are looking for a TPI Relationship Manager to join their team. As the TPI Relationship Manager, you will be responsible for managing a select group of brokers/ Third-Party Intermediaries (TPI’s) in order to grow the business placed with the company through them and achieve business sales targets whilst increasing the company’s share of the TPI Market. You will ensure value is maximised for both new and existing customers, with a key emphasis on developing processes & initiatives to deliver long-term relationships. You will have direct responsibility for your own TPI's and associated targets and you will be responsible for supporting, managing, and growing B2B business energy portfolio, focusing on delivering both volume, margin, and meters. To be successful in this role you will need a minimum of 2 years of sales account management within the B2B energy industry. Experience within a TPI framework is desirable but not essential. Key responsibilities:
- Overall performance for your TPI’s covering Acquisitions, Renewals and New Connections
- Accountability of Sales retention for your TPI’s
- Plan with TPI’s to understand their routes to market to progress value/volume
- Adhere to agreed service level agreements for the pricing and servicing of TPI contracts
- Utilise your experience and relationships in this market to grow the business
- Be the “go-to person” for all TPI enquiries - objections, servicing queries, commission etc
- Gain an in-depth knowledge into your TPI’s, their wants, needs and how they work
- Price TPI tenders selectively, where required to win larger business
- Negotiating contracts taking them through the journey to agreed and signed
- Performance manage all TPI’s with an expectancy of growth
Skills and experience required:
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in B2B energy sales account management
- Experience from either energy supplier or energy broker
- Confident – you love talking to people and building relationships
