As a company with a long history in gas and power, and more recently renewable energy technologies, they have always been at the forefront of the market, remaining responsive and flexible in a changing marketplace. They have always been highly competitive, delivering the complex products and services required to meet market demand, whilst ensuring their core values and objectives are embedded within the organisation.
To continue their commitment to remaining competitive as the market leader, Lisa was tasked with a brand-new role to find a Commercial Director as part of their growth strategy, to drive and deliver products which would give their customers the best tariffs and product offerings.
They were seeking a candidate with experience from an established supplier who had demonstrable understanding of all costs of supply, including wholesale energy, balancing, metering, third party costs and finance/credit, whilst also owning the product strategy. This included identification of future market opportunities and requirements, assessment of potential products, product development, and measurement of effectiveness in both margin and take up. Sectors included: energy supply products for Major and SME businesses, PPAs for generators and ancillary products.
