The Company

Our client has been developing innovative environmental solutions to industry for more than 15 years. They have developed technologies and proprietary solutions for the conditioning, treatment and recovery of urban and industrial waste. They are a French organisation with international coverage out of their offices based in France, the United States, UK and Germany.

The challenge

They wanted to break into the FMCG market in the UK selling their wastewater to fresh water generation production solutions and were looking for a Business Developer who already had experience in the waste water sector – a very niche market.

The solution

Whilst wastewater is not our main forte, we knew our network would give us access to candidates with the specific expertise required. Jordan therefore marketed the role to his network on Linked In utilising specific adverts, marketed to our extensive Hot Jobs mailing list and reached out individually to candidates in this space.

The result

Jordan found just ONE candidate with the right skills and experience. He had already anticipated the talent pool would be small, but this person had the right skillset in the right industry. The CV was sent, and within one week he had a first, then second interview – was offered the job and accepted. Great result!

Shortly after the BDM started, they came back to Jordan for an Electrical Service and Technical Support Engineer based in Stoke. He found 2 CVs pretty quickly and placed one of them in the role. This demonstrates how our extensive network reaches into inter-connected sectors enabling us to work even the more obscure roles effectively.
