Role purpose
An innovative energy management company are looking for an Account Manager to join their team to manage all aspects of the delivery of services to clients, such as bill validation / utility recharge / energy procurement / compliance / metering to agreed SLA’s. You will be required to deliver on client retention and growth, while ensuring that clients get solutions to any issues. The ideal candidate will need to have excellent communication and relationship building skills, be able to present ideas and results to internal and external stakeholders. - Establish delivery processes and implementation to align with unique client needs
- Manage client expectations, ensuring SLAs are appropriate and communicated regularly
- Ensure cost effective solutions are delivered to solve client problems
- Build and maintain effective internal and client partnerships
- Identify revenue and added value opportunities in the client account
- Hold a deep understanding of the clients’ objectives, structure, and existing partnerships
- Develop a client account plan which covers mobilisation of new services, risk and growth
- Report progress against account plan and retention target
- To keep clients informed of legislative change
- Deliver KPI and SLA reporting against agreed service levels
Experience required
- B2B Account management in an energy / utilities / broker / consultancy
- Able to work well with teams from different departments to achieve organisational goals
- Excellent communication, project management, and leadership skills
- Able to present ideas and results to different stakeholders across the business
- The ability to work alone and take a lead when required
- Able to adapt to the ever-changing environment and reacting quickly to meet challenges
