Summary:
We are looking for an experienced Account Manager to join a leading Energy and Utility management consultancy. In this role you will be responsible for the management of utilities (primarily electricity, gas and water/sewerage) on behalf of their clients. Key responsibilities:- Issuing tender request to suppliers with various contracting requirements
- Take responsibility for portfolios of properties for a variety of clients
- Maintaining and growing client relationships.
- Resolving complex queries with clients and suppliers.
- Reviewing data to identify opportunities for savings or potential problems.
- Producing utility reports for clients and preparing property budgets & accruals.
- Calculating utility recharges for tenants who share a utility supply.
- Maintaining a schedule of outstanding queries.
- Maintain a broad knowledge of industry rules/issues.
- Occasional travel to, and participate in client meetings at UK locations.
- Excellent communication and written skills
- A high level of numeracy
- Experience in using Excel
- Assertive, tenacious and pleasant telephone manner
- A self-starter with a well organised approach
- Ability to work both as an individual and in a team
- Ability to resolve issues
- 25 days hols raising to 30 days
