Are you a forward thinking, proactive Account Manager looking to join an expanding and successful energy consultancy/ energy management company? Our client provides utilities consultancy services which include gas, energy, water contract negotiation as well as contract management, energy reporting, billing validation and invoice recharging. As the Account Manager you will be part of a team who will be responsible for developing new and nurturing existing key client relationships by working to design and maintain client energy management and procurement strategies while managing day to day requirements of clients as they arise. We are looking for a confident and motivated Account Manager who has a proven track record of account managing corporate client portfolios as well as someone who has experienced in leading a team of Account Executives/ Junior Account Managers . Responsibilities:

  • Ensuring that client energy procurement and management are in place.
  • Working with the Directors and to develop and implement project roll-out plans.
  • Chairing Quarterly Client Meetings (with Account Director where required)
  • Presenting to clients and internal team members
  • Specialist Client Projects
  • Relaying and Monitoring Account Executive and Data Executive Tasks.
  • Liaising with national and international clients in person and on the phone
  • Set up new portfolios and sites
  • Organise site surveys for meter identification
  • Organising Electric & Gas Supply Contract Tendering
  • MOP Contract Tendering
  • Managing Disconnection Notices
  • Managing Transfer Objections
  • Chairing Quarterly Client Meetings (with Account Director where required)
  • Portfolio Summary (NOTs, Contract Renewals, COTs in COTs Out)
  • Cost Analysis, consumption Alerts, Usage Analysis, Consumption Profiling
 

Experience:

  • 3 years experience account management within an energy consultancy/ brokerage/ supplier
  • Management/ Leadership experience
  • Knowledge of fixed and flex procurement
  • Exposure to working with corporate clients
  • Problem solving and time management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skill necessary
  • Strong numeracy skill
  • Knowledge of MS Office and Excel preferable
