Summary:

A rapidly growing energy consultancy specialising in energy procurement, solar, and EV solutions for businesses is seeking a Business Development Executive with at least 2 years of lead generation experience to join their team. In this role, you'll focus on generating qualified leads, scheduling appointments, and securing Letters of Authority (LOAs) to drive growth in both the energy and renewable sectors. Your key responsibilities will include managing a sales pipeline, achieving monthly KPIs, and keeping CRM records accurate and up-to-date. Key responsibilities:

  • Drive new business through cold calling, networking, social media and follow-up efforts
  • Schedule sales appointments and secure Letters of Authority (LOAs)
  • Consistently achieve monthly targets by prioritising high-quality lead generation
  • Maintain organised records using their CRM system ensuring data accuracy and accessibility.
  • Communicate effectively with sales and support teams
  • Delivering customer-focused solutions that go beyond expectations.
  • Keep up with industry trends
 

Skills and experience required:

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a sales role (telesales, door to door, recruitment)
  • Proven ability to generate qualified leads and set appointments.
  • Strong organisational and time management skills for managing a busy sales pipeline.
  • Proficient in CRM systems and accurate data entry.
  • Demonstrated ability to meet or exceed KPIs and sales targets.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with a customer-focused approach.
  • Collaborative team player, able to work closely with sales and support teams.
  • Desirable: Prior experience in the energy industry, with knowledge of energy procurement.
