Key Responsibilities for Business Development Manager
- Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
- Prepare and present proposals, quotes and contracts to clients, ensuring alignment with the company’s portfolio offerings
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
- Understand clients' sustainability goals and challenges to propose suitable solutions
- Conduct presentations, meetings, and workshops to educate clients on products
Skills & experience required for Business Development Manager
- Proven experience in sales within the energy sector
- Demonstrable evidence of pipeline management that delivers and exceeds targets
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite
- Passion for sustainability and to helping organisations decarbonise their business processes
- Degree educated in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field
