We are looking for a Client Relationship Manager to join a leading energy consultancy. As the Client Relationship Manager, you will be managing a portfolios of accounts and you will be responsible for improving the efficiency, accuracy and speed of service. You will be accountable for the internal management and delivery of energy procurement and management services to clients. As the Client Relationship Manager, you will oversee the end-to-end customer lifecycle. To be successful in this role you will need experience account/ relationship management experience within the energy/ utilities industry and have a good understanding of procurement. You will also have great commercial acumen and have up/cross-selling and renewals experience. If this role sounds like a good fit for you, apply today!  

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead on and develop a portfolio of client accounts to build long-term profitable relationships
  • Know your client portfolio and their current status of supply arrangements and income potential.
  • Formulate a plan to effectively manage renewals and increase revenue
  • Maintain CRM system with accurate and up-to-date information
  • Manage clients’ expectations and attend meetings when required
  • Provide clients with bespoke reports, benchmarking analysis etc
  • Keep up to date with market activity and ensure that clients are informed of any changes
  • Work closely with internal teams to manage income generating opportunities & solve problems.
 

Skills and experience required: 

  • Account/ Relationship Management experience within the B2B energy/ utilities industry
  • Excellent knowledge of procurement (fixed and ideally flex but not essential)
  • Good negotiation skills in order to seek the best commercial opportunities
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Resilient, reliable, and committed to client delivery.
  • Good analytical skills with the ability to plan to a fine level of detail.
  • Commercially focused with a good understanding of the UK Energy Markets
