Summary:

Our client’s purpose is "Making Energy & Net Zero Simple," and as their Net Zero & Sustainability Sales Consultant, you will play a vital role in this mission. You will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities to achieve your clients net zero, carbon emissions and sustainability sales goals, by promoting a range of appropriate solutions. You will work closely with clients and build solid relationships to understand their sustainability objectives, provide tailored solutions and drive sales that contribute to reducing carbon footprints and supporting their overall sustainability efforts. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Prepare and present proposals, quotes and contracts to clients, ensuring alignment with net zero ambitions and alignment to SBTi criteria or other net zero carbon emission measures
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
  • Understand clients' sustainability goals and challenges to propose suitable solutions.
  • Conduct presentations, meetings, and workshops to educate clients on net-zero strategies, products, and SBT guidelines.

Skills & experience required:

  • Proven experience in sales, preferably within the sustainability or renewable energy sector.
  • Strong knowledge of net-zero concepts, renewable energy technologies, carbon accounting, and Science Based Targets (SBT or SBTi).
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proficiency in CRM software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Passion for sustainability and to helping organisations decarbonise their business processes.
  • Degree educated in Environmental Science, Sustainability, Engineering, or related field.
Qualification by experience will be considered alongside evidence of success in a similar role
