Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement gas and electricity pricing strategies that align with market trends and business objectives.
- Analyse wholesale markets, competitor pricing and risks to maintain a competitive edge
- Lead pricing proposals and cost models for both import and export tariffs.
- Collaborate with the trading team to incorporate live market conditions into pricing strategies
- Ensure regulatory compliance and strong risk management
- Drive automation and improvements in pricing models and processes
- Collaborate with finance, sales, and product teams to deliver insights and guide commercial decisions.
Skills & Experience Required:
- 3+ years’ experience in pricing within the energy sector (gas and electricity)
- Strong knowledge of wholesale energy markets, pricing models, and risk management
- Experience in renewable energy pricing and export pricing is highly desirable
- Proficiency in analytical tools such as Excel, SQL, Python, or Power BI
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence internal and external stakeholders
- Bachelor’s degree in mathematics, Economics, Finance, Energy, or a related field
