Our client offers a comprehensive range of Utility Connections services across the UK, catering to both commercial and residential markets. They are now seeking a Sales Manager to both manage a team of Siteworks Project Co-ordinators as well as to drive new business.  Working closely with the current Siteworks Team Manager you will review existing systems and processes to drive efficiencies and engender the right mindset and culture within the team.  Additionally, you will lead the drive for new business by nurturing relationships with existing customers and identifying new business opportunities – coaching the team to do more new business activity themselves.  The ideal candidate will have man-management experience, along with proven sales skills ideally with an existing network in utilities infrastructure, or alternatively who has worked for an energy broker. Apply Today!   Key responsibilities:
  • Set KPI targets and manage the sales activity within the organisation.
  • Work with the Siteworks Team Manager to drive the team towards KPI’s and behaviours.
  • Build a portfolio of clients from new and existing clients maximising revenue.
  • Identify Key Accounts and determine the commercial opportunities within each
  • Maintain sufficient pipeline to achieve assigned monthly and annual targets.
  • Participate in commercial & pricing policies and mechanisms.
  • Oversee response to tenders from clients and manage bid preparation and submission.
  • Develop and coordinate methodology to identify new customers and open opportunities.
  • Organising and attending meetings, events and exhibitions.
  Skills and experience required:
  • Experience in either utilities connections / infrastructure or energy brokerage.
  • Ability to drive change, lead, manage and motivate a team.
  • Proven sales track record, able to build a pipeline with new and existing customers.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Strong negotiation skills to close deals and secure contracts
  • Strategic thinking and ability to develop and implement effective business strategies.
  • Knowledge of commercial & pricing policies.
  • Excellent communication skills verbal and written.
