Smart Metering Technical Trainer

Summary:

Our client is a Metering Equipment Management Company, delivering smart meter and EV charge-point installation services. They are looking for a Trainer to enhance the skills, knowledge, and capabilities of field engineers through a training academy. You will ensure the smooth and effective functioning of training events and constantly improve the quality and skill set of all field operatives. Focus will be on the onboarding of new smart meter installers and ensuring high standards are maintained.  This will include metering across single, three phase and half hourly electric, standard and medium pressure up to U40 gas.

Key responsibilities:

• Deliver practical hands-on training sessions for new starters and existing team
• Ensuring course materials are kept up to date with Industry
• Managing pre and post course administration, attendance registers, certificates
• Prepare and execute course evaluations, review, and share feedback with the team.
• Deliver training referring to training manuals, PP presentations, publications, workbooks, and technical
• Assess the learner's competence via Formative and summative practical
• Offer feedback to the

Skills and experience required:

• Smart Metering (Dual Fuel) Experience
• Industry Qualifications: CMA1/CCN1 + MET1 (or equivalent)
• Certificate in Power (Logic or equivalent)
