An exciting opportunity has arisen to work within a Global Energy and Sustainability consultancy to support clients in achieving their sustainability goals. You’ll be a key member of a dynamic, and multi-skilled team responsible for carbon footprint assessments, Scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions reporting, helping clients with decarbonisation, road mapping and much more! You will be working with customers in the UK and European markets on diverse projects and a background in engineering or STEM degree, as well as 1-2year minimum within a similar role is ESSENTIAL!! – If this sounds like you, APPLY NOW!!  

Key responsibilities:

  • Involved in analytical, technical and policy aspects of project work
  • Oversee the delivery of high-quality sustainability solutions, including:
    • ESG Reporting
    • Science-Based Targets initiative (SBTi) Application Support
    • Net Zero Strategy Development and Implementation
    • Task Force on Climate-Related Financial Disclosures (TCFD) Reporting
  • Involvement on proposal submission and client / prospect engagement
  • Strategic development and long-term vision of the sustainability consulting team
  • Sustainability/energy policy, e.g., across the net-zero landscape, SBTi, CDP etc
  • Technical knowledge, eg., carbon foot printing, scope 3 emissions, energy modelling, decarbonisation analysis
  • Report writing, eg., client reports, proposals, RFP responses
 

Skills & Experience required:

  • 2-5 years+ of professional sustainability-related experience
  • Highly numerate and analytical bachelor’s degree
  • Masters in sustainability related discipline, with strong written skills and solid understanding/awareness of the policy, market and corporate aspects of sustainability
  • Experience or understanding of modelling and quantitative analysis
  • Excellent presentational, report-writing, and data visualisation skills
  • Clear communicator, able to synthesize and distil evidence/analysis into key messages
  • Strong quantitative analytical and modelling skills
  • Advanced competency in Microsoft Excel
