Sustainability Reporting & Solutions Manager (Net Zero & Scope 3 Services)

Summary:

We are looking for a Sustainability Reporting & Solutions Manager to join a fast-growing energy/ carbon consultancy. As the Sustainability Reporting & Solutions Manager, you will help clients meet their mandatory carbon reporting deadlines and in process help them reduce their environmental footprint. To be successful in this role you will need to have great understanding of Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions accounting and reduction strategies, key sustainability reporting frameworks (ESG, SBTi, CSRD, TCFD) and international standards (e.g., ISO 14001, 50001). Key responsibilities:

• Lead the development and execution of a comprehensive Net Zero & Scope 3 service strategy
• Primary expert advisor on net zero, Scope 3 emissions, and related sustainability reporting frameworks
• Oversee the delivery of high-quality sustainability solutions, including: ESG Reporting, SBTi, CSRD Reporting, TCFD Reporting, CBAM Guidance and Net Zero Strategy Development and Implementation
• Stay abreast of the latest sustainability trends, regulations, and reporting standards.
• Represent the company at industry conferences and events.
• Support new business development efforts - compelling proposals content and answering queries

 

Skills and experience required: 

• Education: Bachelor's degree in Sustainability, Environmental Science, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree (Master's) preferred.
• Minimum of 5+ years of proven experience in sustainability consulting, with a focus on net zero strategy development, carbon accounting, and sustainability reporting.
• Technical Expertise of the following
• Scope 1, 2, and 3 emissions accounting and reduction strategies
• Key sustainability reporting frameworks (ESG, SBTi, CSRD, TCFD)
• International standards (e.g., ISO 14001, 50001)
• Net zero pathways and best practices
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills i.e presentations & proposal development.
• Passion for delivering exceptional client service and building strong relationships.
