Summary:

Our client, who is an award-winning energy consultancy, is looking for a Telesales Team Manager (Energy /Utilities) to manage and develop a team of 8 Telesales Consultants. This role involves driving team performance by motivating, coaching, and supporting each member to excel in an outbound B2B telesales environment. If you have proven experience in B2B telesales management, strong interpersonal skills and the ability to inspire and lead a high-performing team in a fast-paced setting – APPLY TODAY!!

Key responsibilities:

  • Inspire and motivate the team, using your expertise to help them achieve their full potential.
  • Ensure the day is structured efficiently with a focus on meeting daily sales targets
  • Provide hands-on support to the agents by identifying trends in their performance
  • Oversee the employee life cycle from recruitment to onboarding and offboarding
  • Work with Quality Control and L&D to schedule coaching and training sessions.
  • Ensure that the team are maximising call time and achieving their KPIs and sales targets.
  • Oversee performance management, conduct 1:1 meeting, provide coaching and mentoring
  • Drive engagement and promote sales incentives for the team
  • Achieve the financial goals of the business and maintain high standards of customer care
  • Provide quality data and reporting to enhance key sales insights and drive results

Skills and experience required:

  • Previous Management experience in B2B telesales, preferably in the energy sector.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate, coach and lead a dynamic sales team
  • Skilled at transforming data and information into insights that inform decision-making
  • A strong influencer and leader that listens to understand and coach and advise the team
  • Ability to build collaborative working relationships with your team and colleagues
  • Commercially focused capable of making quick decisions using knowledge and judgment.
