Over the last few months Utility People have been asking Energy and Water professionals their opinion on the Opening of the Water market and how it might impact the industry. The results are in and here are just a few key findings.

71% of Water Professionals feel they are being proactive enough to meet 2017 competition targets.
How are they getting ready?
We asked Energy Deregulation Professionals for helpful tips and advice that would support the water industry. 54% said accurate billing and management of customer transfer has been the biggest hurdle for them with Deregulation. Some other obstacles are shown below.
When asking Energy Professionals if they think there are potential opportunities for them to switch to water a staggering 85% said YES. As the leading recruiter in the industry this tells us the water industry will not be short of people who want to help them succeed and Energy companies need to take care of their staff now in order not to lose them to water.
