Summary:

Our client is a growing customer focused Renewable Energy Supplier, with a mission to turn the grid green and offering fair prices to household customers across the UK. Digital-first, customer-centric company that uses smart technology and renewable sources to provide low-cost and low-carbon energy to their customers. looking for a Billing and Settlements Analyst to join their growing team and help deliver their vision.  You will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of billing processes and industry settlement performance within the energy supply industry. Key responsibilities:

  • Daily operations related to bill generation, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
  • Monitor and manage industry settlement performance.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of industry flows across electricity and gas supply.
  • Possess knowledge of D0095 and D0235 exception codes. Desirable
  • Investigate and resolve settlement exceptions promptly.
  • Help develop accurate forecasts for billing and settlement volumes.
  • Consistently monitor Billing and Settlement portfolios, identifying trends and potential risks.
  • Proactively address any discrepancies or anomalies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address any billing-related issues promptly.
  • Stay informed about regulatory changes and industry best practices.
 

Skills and experience required:

  • Industry Experience:
    • 2 years’ experience in Billing & Settlement functions is essential.
    • Familiarity with back-office operations in an energy supplier context.
  • Technical Competencies:
    • Proficiency in handling HH and NHH settlements.
    • Good understanding of industry flows, including electricity and gas supply.
    • Good Knowledge of D0095 and D0235 exception resolution. Desirable.
  • Analytical Skills:
    • Proactive in identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
    • Comfortable with data analysis and forecasting.
