Our client is the largest member owned farm buying group in the UK. Seeking a Energy Procurement Manager to deliver procurement and outstanding service across their Energy portfolios whilst maximising business opportunities. You will actively contribute to the business objectives and targets with focus on building strong supply partnerships bringing the highest levels of service and competitive pricing. If you have experience of procuring energy, contracts, pricing, can build relationships, lead, and motivate a team. Then this is the role for you. APPLY Today!  

Responsibilities:

  • To assist the Head of Utilities in leading the Energy team in delivering a seamless end-to-end member journey from procurement, on-boarding and through to management of the supply of Energy products and services, including bill validation and query resolution.
  • To proactively identify new business opportunities, and work towards increasing member commitment and growing volumes.
  • Proactively work towards future volume growth budgets to include building new relationships and further enhancing existing supplier relationships.
  • Contribute to business plan and budget forecasting, monthly performance board reports and weekly Energy reports.
  • Manage and develop the team to exceed business targets and KPI’s in line with the business plan.
 

Experience & Skills

  • Knowledge of procuring Energy
  • In depth knowledge of energy markets and pricing
  • Ability to lead a team, enthusiastic, motivated and approachable.
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Data analysis and presentation skills
  • CIPs (Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply) qualification
